In this 12-week-series we share intermediate flows and washing machines containing more transitions, spins and the occasional pop - come by to learn new moves and how to link familiar poses into fun sequences with different entries and exits.
You don't need a partner to join! In this class, we will work together in varying teams so while you are very welcome to come as a couple it is not necessary to be paired up in advance.
Level: Intermediate. Options will be available to make certain transitions easier or harder
We ask you to be able to do at least 80% of the following poses as a base or as a flyer (can be with spotter for safety, but not to hold the pose):
side stars (can be with hands)
star with 3 points of contact (removing 1 foot)
reverse star (any entry)
tick tocks (side star to bat)
you have tried foot to hand (low is enough)
Not sure about your level? Reach out to us via acroyoga.vienna@gmail.com.
Dates: Every Tuesday 19:00-20:30
September: 16, 23
October: 7, 14, 21, 28
November: 4, 11, 18, 25
December: 2, 9
IMPORTANT: Since we’re expecting a baby, there will be a one week break in the middle of the series, where there will the option to train at the studio, but there will be no classes. The break depends on when exactly Hannah will give birth, sometime mid October-ish ;) So in total there are 13 weeks in the series, but you pay only for 12 classes!
There will also be an optional WhatsApp group to share questions and get feedback about your practice during the week.
Places for the course are limited to guarantee a personal and guided experience.
Energy exchange:

We believe lack of money should not keep you from doing the things you love. If you're struggling financially but really want to learn acroyoga, contact us and we will find a way so you can join.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions with an email to acroyoga.vienna@gmail.com - but maybe they are already answered in the FAQs below :)

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Do I need a partner to join?
A: No. In this class, we will work together in varying teams so while you are very welcome to come as a couple it is not necessary to be paired up in advance.
Q: I have a partner and I want to only train with my partner. Is this possible?
A: Yes, however you will need to team up with at least a third person for spotting and do acroyoga with this person. Alternatively you can team up with another couple in a team of 4 people, and then you would only need to spot the other 2 people. You can always choose to stay with your partner when we suggest to mix up groups.
If this doesn’t work for you, we also offer private classes which is like a coaching for just you and your partner.
Q: I don’t have any sport background/ I think I am too short/light to base or too tall/heavy to fly - Can I do acroyoga?
A: Yes. We aim to make acroyoga accessible to everybody. With the right technique a lot more is possible than you might think and with spotters you can always try something out in a safe environment. We encourage you to come and try, acroyoga is for everybody and every body!
Q: I cannot make it to the whole series. Can I catch up on some of the missed classes?
A: Yes. If we know about the absence beforehand, you can take up another of the drop-in classes (60 minutes) that we offer (Handstands, Acroyoga Open Level, Yoga) in exchange for the missed class. Please tell us which class you want to take as follow-up so we can tell you if there is space.
Important: you can’t take up the missed class in the next class series. Please make sure to use up your “left-over class” in the same course cycle (in this case until the first week of December 2025).
